Michigan Dog Training Group Classes

Sign up for one of our monthly group classes for puppies and dogs!

Please upload your dog's vaccination records when you sign up for class!

All dogs 4+ months old must have the following up to date:

Rabies, DHPP, Lepto, Bordetella (every 6 months), Negative Fecal Test w/ Results (every 6 months)

Puppies must have the first 2 DHPP vaccines in the series, Bordetella, and a Negative Fecal Test w/ Results.

To participate in the class, please upload your dog's vaccination records at this https://michigandogtrainer.net/vaccination-upload no later than the Tuesday preceding the class commencement. Regrettably, refunds will not be issued for cancellations made less than seven days prior to the class start date or for failure to provide the necessary medical documentation.

Puppy Preschool

8-14 Weeks Old

  • Sit, come, down, etc.

  • Puppy raising tips

  • socialization

Class meets on Sundays at 9:00a - 9:45a for 4 weeks.

Puppy All STAR

15-20 Weeks Old

  • Heel, greetings, sit stay, down stay

  • American Kennel Club Puppy Star Evaluation

  • Continue socialization

Class meets on Sundays at 10:00a - 10:45a for 4 weeks.

Basic Manners

21+ Weeks Old

  • Sit, down, come, heel, stay

  • Polite greetings

  • Fun tricks

Class meets on Sundays at 12:00p - 12:45p for 4 weeks.

Canine Good Citizens

Basic Manners Prerequisite

  • Place, stay with distance,

  • Previous commands w/ harder distractions

  • Take the AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluation

Class meets on Sundays at 1:00p - 1:45p for 4 weeks.

Nosework Class

12+ weeks old

Give your puppy or dog (12 weeks and older), the mental and physical stimulation they crave by tapping into their incredible natural scenting ability!

Our 4-week Nosework class is the perfect way to enhance your dog’s well-being through fun, rewarding scent-based activities. You and your dog will learn to work as a team locating hidden scents to enhance their well being or even to prepare for competition trials if desired.

The first four weeks is $225 and thereafter the monthly subscription program is just $179.00 to be challenged with increasingly harder finds. The scents are provided for practicing at home. Join any Wednesday at 6pm for 20-45 minutes.
